Hello there 👍
Your masculinity just did a 10x
Hehe, I actually created this a few weeks ago but not used it much since I struggled to find a reliable android client
Same here. Iris, Snort and Hamster are great on desktop, though.
Yes, I like iris but Im always mobile and found using a browser a pita.
I'm using the amethyst app which is alright, a little clumsier but usable.
Have you tried the Android version: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=to.iris.twa
Lol. I had no idea one existed ty
I'm still kind of hesitant to type my private key into any android app, tbh. Not sure if app based signing solutions already exist.
Where are you confident to type it? I'm assuming we all will need to dump our keys for new ones once an offline signing option becomes available. Not sure how that'll work though. Signing every time you want to like or comment? It would need to be very easy to sign.
On desktop, I'm using Alby, which of course requires trust as well, but it's better than having to trust every client I want to try. I nuked my old acc after having used it on anigma and would prefer to not having to do it again.
I want a tapsigner type ring as a signing device for Nostr mobile clients. World be perfect for this use case.
Finally, a real use case for NFC.
Yea, although whether you type it in an app or a browser plugin, trust is required regardless i guess.
I didn't have to type mine into the app, it just worked so i guess it picked it up from my web based session.
Err... A-ha... Iris App is TWA aka WebSite running in App? Is more secure and better than running just from mobile Browser?
A Trusted Web Activity (TWA) is merely an Android app but does not need to create it. All we need to do is launch the required PWA site into the Android app. A Trusted Web Activity allows Chrome (v72 or later) to run a website in fullscreen mode without a browser toolbar within an APK (Android Package).
Sirius business, lol, I see what you did there.
