after meeting my wifes and friends family the thing they all said to me later on when i actually became part of the family is that they could tell we were comfortable together right away. they said they could tell by the way i touched her and looked at her (not in a pda type of way but in a “im here for you” type of way.
of course not everyone shows affection in the same way but however you act when you are together alone on the couch, just do that.
