Has more to do with what activity he's engaged in and the expression on his face, but they all look mildly uncivilized.
Maybe they just understood the benefits of the sun their skin.

Oddly, if said shirtless man is holding an axe, the threat level decreases 10 fold 😂

Threatening perhaps, but does it exited you?
Maybe. Sometimes. I can only tell if it was more exciting or scary or gross, once I've calmed down again, and either way I'm annoyed at the immodesty and distraction.
