In my first piece for Forbes as a contributor, I decided to explore the Naira crisis and its relationship to Bitcoin adoption in 🇳🇬

I hope this helps shed light on the nuances missing in the naira crisis conversation that needed to be addressed, especially the fungibility ‘trilema’.

The situation is yet another factor contributing to more Nigerians moving to Bitcoin.

I salute your work Jack

The sooner we can get countries with a failing fiat on the Bitcoin standard, the better! 😮‍💨⚡️

Those of us fortunate to be living in financial privilege must work a bit harder to truly understand how important and liberating Bitcoin can and will be

This looks eerily similar to the situation in Suriname 😩 Thanks for sharing! #orangepillSu 🇸🇷

END FIAT!

Love this so much

I wish more nocoiners knew about these problems and offered alternative solutions, but I never see them address these issues. I'm glad you're getting the word out to the mainstream

Thanks! I do think it is incumbent on us as Bitcoiners to highlight the use cases on the ground, and the various ways Bitcoin is materially helping people who need it.

1m ⚡️incredible

I’ll zap that ⚡️

More humanitarian use cases for my favorite asset

Good article! Sad that it seems Nigeria did not learn any lessons from India’s note replacement debacle some years back.

Articles deserve a zap

Worth the zap ⚡! Thank you

The naira crisis sounds so much like India’s demonetization!

You see this? He could probably help.

Most Nigerians gave up a long time ago they jst wonna get their daily bread and hope for the best. Great article 👍

That article was FIRE.

I'm still in shock that Forbes posted it.

Well done!

Hey! Can you write one on the situation in Suriname? Inflation is at ~60%+. The country is in crisis. We’re teaching people and merchants how to use Bitcoin. Minimum wage is $180/month, families run out of money after the first week of the month due to high inflation. There have protests and riots and government is getting even more corrupt and trying to steal reserves 😔 Suriname needs Bitcoin, fast!
