The new tipping systems of various social networks are so much worse than zaps.
The clunky UX of using walled garden dollars for tips vs using sats seems like it will be one of the obvious differentiators.

We need to pitch them on Zaps. Zaps are fun, easy, and the entire user experience is quite refreshing compared to other offerings.

I don’t work for tips… I like to get proper value for the value I provide. This is a decent 30 day return for the work I put in on Hive.
I think that's around 900k sats this month just for the social side, though I do pay $50 (165k sats) per month for a witness server I run.
When Nostr client apps come with a Lightning wallet built-in things are really going to kick off.
