And after that the will to live is nill. You've been beat down and just willing to accept your place in society.
This is why the stats favor marriages where the man is 10+ years older than the woman.
I feel like it was the opposite. I had direction and drive all through my 20s/30s. Now at 40+ I feel lost and wondering what comes next.
I've also been told that your most productive decade is your 70's. We should be getting better with age, not worse.
That because we can’t move quite as fast.
