I’ll give them like a solid 5.5/10

I think #[3] would have given a way better number

What are your top 3?

(add brands also, as I’m curious what’s popular over there)

Ewww 🤢

What‽ ‽‽

Wrong answer.

Are they in auz?

Not that I know of, but sounds disgusting 😂

Not my favorite. They’re popular in Canada though.

+1 ketchup potato chips, haven't tried ketchup tortilla chips

Guaranteed seed oils so 0/10 but could be dynamite

10 out of 10 people prefer them to crickets lol

😂😂

loved those 😂

Top 3 best flavors in no particular order

Ketchup

All Dressed

Chedder Sour Cream

What’s “All Dresses”? 🤔

Dressed*

Vinegarish bbq with paprika?

Its every flavourish

bbq and paprika sounds lovely, but vinegar is not my thing ❤️🤔

It's like tangy BBQ and paprika

Curious to try, I’m so excited to travel the world mostly because I’m really fascinated by trying out new food

All my foreign travel itineraries revolve around the food!

We could be the first food bloggers on Nostr? 👀

#Nomstr

I think #yumstr is a thing already 👀

This is why someday I will travel.

All dressed ruffles mmmm

Da shit

Two of three of those are not sold in the United States.

And come to think of it, cheddar and sour cream & onion are separate flavors, so really, none of those.

America falling flat on its junk food face. They used to be better

Make America Great Again

How’d that work out last time?

It worked out very fiat-ish

Cheddar sour cream is totally sold.

Where do you shop for chips you haven’t seen these?

Honestly no, because I almost never buy commercial chip brands so I’m probably blind to it.

Dudes right it’s a top flavor, seed oils for sure but yo, take a risk for some mouth pleasure sometime.

Yeah, you’re right. I just forgot the “cheddar” was also “sour cream,” but let’s be honest… why do you need 30 goddamn ingredients including artificial colors and flavors in a potato chip? I read that label and my eyes glaze over.

Call me boring, but if I’m buying chips, it’s something like this. Three ingredients, and I can tell you what they are without a chemistry textbook.

Mmmm looks delicious. Simple salty crunchy 🤤

#chipstr

Throw some dill on there and I’m in.

Dip it in this and you’ll forget all about that Ruffles shitcoin.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ruffles Shitcoin

Tzatziki is so good in general, and p low calorie compared to similar stuff.

Bruh you're a dill maxi lol

Dill is so freaking good. Totally an underused an underrated seasoning.

These are good! Love me some plain chips too.

Missed dill.

I like them.

Weirdo wolf 🐺😂

True 🤷‍♂️😂

The spicy ketchup from mrs vikies and the dorritos are the top of the ketchup chip pyramid

Straight up old Dutch. Old skool. Chase it with some hickory sticks.

Hickory sticks, making me hungry

😂😂

While on the topic I am curious wolf, have you had prairie oysters?

Of course!

You?

What is that?

Cow or buffalo testicles

🤮

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Chewy. Meaty. Sometimes just suck on them like a gobstopper 😂.

Please get me off this thread before I puke 🤮

Lol the everlasting kind eh

😂😂

Unfortunately, no my wife was excited about the branding party until she fully understood what was going on.

I feel all food deserves its fair chance. Marie, do they have Outback Oysters round you?

What, kangaroo balls? 🤢

Mari doesn’t eat them, she just hangs them from her rear view mirror.

🙇🙇🙇🙇

With roo’s like Roger I use them as my weights 💪😂

There can only be one Roger

😂😂 or for lawn bowling?

😂

How about Rocky Mountain Oysters.

Sheep or elk testicles?

Rocky Mountain oysters or mountain oysters, or meat balls, also known as prairie oysters in Canada, is a dish made of bull testicles. The organs are often deep-fried after being skinned, coated in flour, pepper and salt, and sometimes pounded flat. The dish is most often served as an appetizer

I had to do a quick search and was 🤨

Oh, sorry we already discussed prairie oysters. Didn’t realize they were also called mountain oysters. I’ve tried them, you?

😆 oh no too many threads

I have not had the pleasure 🤭

Chewy, but delicious 😂

Education is the first step.

#[5] another cuisine of my country being discussed here

It’s all this @coinkite talk. I don’t see them here though

🇨🇦 vs 🇫🇷 🤷🏻

Actually never had oysters before, y’all like them?

Actual oysters or prairie oysters? Both are good.

To be honest, I haven’t got a clue about either of them, so I’ve got to Google myself up a bit here 💜

😁

Just googled “prairie oyster”…

First time hearing about Worcestershire sauce 🤔

Also it doesn’t sound too appealing, but I’m open to try it 💜

If I were #[7] I would insert the oyster that needs to chill..

😂😂

What does this even mean Alice 👀

When did Sleepy come into this? 😂

He knows.

They all know.

🤣

Well I don’t know so you wanna fill me in?

👀👀

Love them especially with crispy bacon and chilli soy!

We would keep them in ice in a bucket, grab one and shuck it.

Nope cannot do fresh ones, they have to be cooked for me!

How’d we jump back to prairie oysters

Just bringing in another world eater

#[5]

Haven't had any of the "oyster" variants in the US. Tried several Asian variants (no idea what they were called). Meh...

I'm more partial to Gopchang (intestines)

🤔

#nutstr #[7]

Rocky Mountain or ourstrer⚡️🎊

I would try, but not buy

Bleh

Can u list off all of the chemical ingredients on the back first before I make my decision???

🤪

Shhhh just enjoy the ride sometimes bro

Oh I enjoyed the ride & it gave me a colon ulcer 😉

Okay dude, you rode too many times.

No regerts!

🤣😂🤣

Ketchup is totally fire 🔥 sad you missed them on your adventures

Just to start

Eat Ze Bugz

Solid. Near impossible to find in the U.S. I feast in Canada.

Flamin' hot or not?

not

Neigh

In that event may herds of cosmic turtles shower us in pure ketchup flavored chips as they ascend to a higher condimental realm.

amen 🙏

Absolute no for me dawg. Canadians invented them but I cannot stand by it.

What dafuck are those?

I saw ketchup Doritos other day. But bought the Hot Mustard Doritos instead. Never see ketchup chips in LA.

Sorry for your bad luck, I bought eth one time too.

Never had but want to try.

When lays used to do the chip flavor contests and the winner would have their flavor released for a limited time, I was obsessed with the cappuccino flavor

Please, go on. More details spare no information.

Lay’s used to do a competition where anyone could submit a flavor and lays would pick the top three ideas, create the flavors and then put them all on sale. It was called Lay’s Do Us A Flavor. One year a finalist was cappuccino, which I loved but most people hated. To me it tasted like whipped cream with a dash of cinnamon and a hint of espresso. https://nostr.build/i/97cee8493806b32b53113fca07cc7fc750fad272e1adc045971e73617cb3a9e5.webp

Of course it's a Chad flavour lol Amazing I remember this contest, I don't remember this flavour. I think it would be almost like churros

Kind of like churros but less sweet

👀👀👀👀👀👀

Yer I think so. The tomato may get a bit much so would consider balancing with a bit of French onion dip. Bring it

It's more vinegarly than you think. I find us ketchup generally sweet than ours

Vinegarly. New word. I tried to pronounce it. Now I know why they end up spelling it vinegary.

One of my favorites is either plain or chicken chips with Worcestershire sauce on them. Great with beer💪

Like Worcester flavour or are dipping them?

Cause both sound good

I get the sauce and splash on the top. As you become more of an addict you will find yourself adding more and more. I sometimes pour into the bag shake for a while and then go. But mainly just in a bowl
