Why is negotiating to purchase a home so nerve racking? 🤯
Discussion
Gonna post my decision tomorrow on what I'm doing with my investment property, cannot give away in UK atm
All in your mind. Anxiety over a home is fear speaking.
First home purchase 🫠
Congrats.
Yeah def a roundabout process.
I had to provide letters of explanation on certain transactions from my bank account.
Relax man. There are tons out there. Try to enter the sellers mind. Yoda.
Congrats Nostrich 🤙🏻

Just remember there are lots of homes and the longer you look the better one you will find. As hard as it is try not to get emotional attached falling in love with a place. A lot easier said then done. Good luck to you. Make sure you have a friend you trust give you his honest opinion.
Home buying experience is torment. Never ending paperwork and manufactured drama.
Fiatville
Because:
1.) It represents a lot of present and future wealth
2.) Everyone thinks their home should command a God's fortune (thank our current fiat system for that)
3.) The current market sucks ass because it's so very illiquid.
To me, it represents future repairs. My wife and I are remodeling our kitchen. It doesn't seem like a store of wealth to me. It's just a hedge against shelter inflation.
Just a few 💰 and emotions. Apathy is your best friend when negotiating, but hard to do when it’s your potential castle. Good luck!
Wait until they accept your offer and the bank begins performing financial enemas on you 🤣
I did it over a thousand times as a realtor before I left to come in to bitcoin. Not nearly as bad as you think and many ways to get out if you need to.
It’s a big purchase and you don’t do it often so it gets people anxious, rightfully so.
But don’t worry, you are buying a piece of land and a box of commodities. Always worth something so you can’t get it too wrong. 😉💪🏻 Let me know if you have any questions or need to bounce something off..🙏🏻
You got balls of steel buying a home right now. Unless money is no issue then buy away lol
Probably cuz you're going to live there for the next 10 years and it's one of the biggest personal investments you'll make?
You getting help from a realtor? They can offload some of that anxiety.
Wayyyyy too stressful 😬
I think it’s because the stakes are high. When you’re ready to negotiate, you already really want the home so you’re in an emotionally compromised position.
In this market? Eh..
affordability is the lowest since ever, rates are high, depending on location sellers are either still spoiled or freaking out.. yea, good luck out there!
It’s either that or fund my landlords mortgage who has increased the rent 33% since we moved in.
33%??? 😱
Yup.
I don’t wanna burn 33% more a month
My rent was 1,100 a month one year ago, and now it’s 1,700.
🙃🙃🙃 I am glad that I choose a place where my rent only go up per 2% per year.
Yeah it's that "8% inflation."
I bought a house last August because even though I expected prices to fall, I also expected mortgages to rise.
good luck!
It doesn't seem like a great time to buy right now but it is also unclear whether it is actually getting better any time soon or not 🤷
