jack of all trades. master of none.

Hey #[0] … easy question for the mining expert. What’s the best ASIC for 110V? Still an S9? My son is looking to play around. Thanks!

I wonder what the average term and interest rate this is all at. Variable versus fixed. This cannot end well.

Bluesky has definitely been getting more attention lately.

Well, since you need the above in practically every aspect of life, as well as BTC, it’s all about sustainability in both. Not vilifying. What BTC needs is less narcissistic crappy meme marketing. Not going to win over anyone new that way.

I expected nothing from this thread. I received entertainment. And a headache. At the same time.

… and hard people expose fake times.

… and adults by default when little. Some of that shit really hurts the body.

Extremism on both sides. It will be a decade of division and intolerance. Trust in everything is broken. Time will tell how it all plays out.

There is definitely a place for stable coins. Say when BTC has had a good run and you want to sell and wait for a pullback to increase your stack without any additional capital. Things always mean revert. But they are definitely a short-term vehicle. Not a long-term substitute for fiat equivalent. Just minimize risk exposure and use with caution.

WoS, although not the ideal long-term solution, just works now. No big deal. Just don’t have a ton of data on it. No denying it’s the perfect example of the on-boarding experience we need to get to for non-custodial solutions.

There are no hard rules. It depends on many factors.

- Where you live and housing costs. Pick somewhere that meets your needs. If you work from home, you have way more options. Try to avoid commuting. Depending on traffic, it can be unpredictable and stressful. I live in the Vancouver, BC area and we have always been mortgage poor. After the last of my kids have graduated high school, we most likely will leave to have more freedom and less stress.

- Spend discretionary money on what you value. Seems obvious, but many live beyond their means to not miss out / keep up with friends and family. This will kill ability to save.

- Whatever you manage to save, outside of an emergency fund, invest appropriately. Don’t degen most or all of it. The lure of massive gains usually sets up pain and regret. Lessons none the less, but in essence, protect and preserve your capital first. Don’t get greedy.

Just a few 💰 and emotions. Apathy is your best friend when negotiating, but hard to do when it’s your potential castle. Good luck!

Do you know if the relay created from scratch or was a started relay package used and NIP-23 support added to it? Trying to learn more about running a relay and doesn’t look like the popular ones (strfry, nostream, nostr-rs-relay) currently have 23 implemented.
