⚡🇺🇸 ICYMI - California passed a bill to seize Bitcoin left idle on exchanges.

After 3 years of inactivity, assets can be taken by the state under 'Unclaimed Property' laws. https://blossom.primal.net/7a8fe1a3a2c4b5bb2980b0c65eec9e5a1219d446fcb7c7dcf9046408153dadad.mp4

Oh yeah it's beginning. Let's see how quickly they can slide down this slope.

Glad Monero is not on exchanges anymore.

How do they define "inactivity"?

"(e.g., no logins, transactions, deposits, withdrawals, or other signs of owner engagement)"

So get your coins off exchanges, but if you have anything on an exchange, log into that exchange every few weeks or months so the clock doesn't get started.

This bill passed in October 2025. It's not new information.

What a shithole

California is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Unless you're referring to the State Assembly in Sacramento, then I completely agree.

I don’t question the beauty of the place, but I know every country has the politicians they diserve. 😉 PS: borned and raised in Europe east block, I can call a shithole when I see one.

A gilded cage is still a cage.

Fuckin wow. They don’t even pretend they’re not thieves any more

Good. Not your keys not your coins.
