If it was actually full of people and activity (and no smog), I wonder if we’d be so critical of it. At first glance, it looks a lot like the real Paris.

That is the criticism, it's just a copy. Paris buildings are beautiful and unique. China can copy it easily but can they make their own beautiful buildings in their own style
