The only real problem with the #Bitcoin  miners heating my house is just how much water they go through! I feel like I spend all day just bussing gallons of water up there to keep it running. It’s time we solve this! What are we gonna do about all the water!?

I only use wastewater for my miners. I directly divert the salt filled water from flushing my water softener. I also collect rain water and divert gray water from my shower and laundry. It’s a lot of work but it saves so much.

I solved this issue by hooking my S9 up to a dehumidifier. Using twice the electricity, but my water bill is now reasonable.

have you tried running the miner off the hot water, and the hot water off the miner ? 👀

Can’t you have it steam off into a condenser where it would then feed back into the system?

Wait till they hear about immersion mining. Next, they'll say that we're using all the oil too.

Every transaction uses 1 billion French fries worth of oil!!

Water? What's the setup using up water? Evaporation cooling?

WTH are you talking about

I think I figured it out: sarcasm towards FUD against evaporation cooled mining farms: note1y3ymzzy7rxh2zh09hehwye9pap4cptwlwldm894m2wzm7s8jgf3scsl7pu

lol. I see what you did there...

Does steam not turn back into water form?

The article I saw basically said a large percentage of the water is from energy production (ie cooking water in coal plants for example) that is then used to mine Bitcoin. So in my mind they're really just double-dipping on the energy FUD - so, basically they're playing Energy FUD Whack-a-Mole.

heat your hot tub ofcourse

😂🤣

Not understanding the water situation — there are hot water heating systems. They are closed systems. Typically the water is heated by a conventional natural gas furnace. Plug your miner into the hot water heating system. Oh wait, your house probably doesn’t have that and it is not the kind of thing that’s an add-on. But a house that /did/ have hot water heating like my parents’, is Bitcon ready.🤔
