So if you are not #[0] this place is basically dead. 0 users searching out others, only users interacting with their daddies they followed from twitter.

Dude follow more people and try to say more things that you have.
I’m on day 5 and it’s been nothing but wholesome vibes
Agree 💯
For sure, but randos are only here following the people they came for, there is no network growth for non-famous users.
You’ve apparently not found a community yet? I’ve never been on Twitter and never had a twitter account. A lot of people migrated from other alternative forums. The world isn’t just Twatter and Facepage
My first tweet was shortly after the # integration. I complained about driver conflict in the version of Linux I installed. That generated me five followers of people offering assistance in one follower of a person, understanding the inside joke of my username.
Twitter disappointed me, no crypto, no paying with crypto, no earning crypto, not in charge of your own info, overloaded with news medis, etc...I'm giving nostr a go!

You haven't used Twitter. It's your loss. Only Chinese slaves and Korean slaves in the world have never used Twitter.
At least I have solid internet here inside my shipping container that the other sweatshop workers and I call home 🤷🏻♂️
Chinese and Koreans. The two stupid, ignorant and isolated garbage slave countries in the world.
Not true at all. I will admit that there isn’t a lot of people here yet, but I have found a nice little group of peeps. Build the community you want. What are you into?

that’s not true lol. it’s SOCIAL media so it starts with SOCIALizing 😉 #grownostr #plebchain
but nice job getting a response from him. the inflammatory approach never fails 🤣
Not true! I've had better conversations on Nostr than I've ever had on Twitter. This is the first time I have more followers than pages I follow 😀 You can't open a page for 5 seconds and expect all of Nostr to know about it. Just keep engaging in meaningful conversations and be kind and you will discover that we have some pretty cool people.
To be honest, the experience of Twitter products is really better. This is the truth.
Twitter, this social software, so far, no social software can surpass it. From the perspective of news media, from the perspective of sharing information dissemination speed, Twitter, a faster and better experience.
Damus, the advantage of this product for Chinese users is that it can be used normally without firewall software.

In China, Damus only needs to be set up like this, and it can be used normally without a VPN. If it is not set like this, you need the firewall software to use it. This method is a setting shared by netizens who know computers.🤭
Diiiiick!
Twitter, social product status, no product surpasses.
In the past, the defect was to block the account, but now, Twitter basically does not block the account.
Out of all the people here I followed maybe 2 or 3 people on Twitter. Definitely not true. Met most people here.
People are here for various reasons. I wanted to explore what protocol based social media felt like, given we come from a country that used to prison people for speaking up against gov’t - and found incredible diversity of people. In my Nostr space there are people with global view and deeply knowledgable on political ideologies, economy, history, humanitarians, devs building in public, music, books, woodworking, gardening, dog owners and various musings.
I came for protocols based social media, and stayed for the algo-free people 💜

ok, Elon 😅
serious answer: just follow the discussions of the users you already follow, there you might find more interesting users. Also, try to post more contents and you'll get feedback and involvement. At least, that is what I've been doing so far and has worked for me
So it seems about a third of responses were in good faith, a third were troll response or assuming my statement was made in anger (very weird take TBH), and the last third is just incoherent nonsense.
Why do humans get so upset when someone speaks about things they enjoy.
