I want to set up a community relay with the following features, what are my options?
- a set of "public" notes that anyone can see
- a separate "in-community" feed that only a certain whitelist of npubs can see
- same for chat: a public chat any npub can participate in
- a private chat that only a certain whitelist of npubs can see
Ditto is your closest bet so far but it doent 100% work the way you want.
As far as an "In community feed", you could do an auth relay that requires auth for both posting and downloading notes mabey? Only use that relay for the chat as well. Relay.tools might be worth checking out as well.
Thanks! I've looked at ditto and it's close but missing a chat UI (among some other details). If ditto had a basic chat UI with "anonymous mode" for newcomers to easily ask questions, it would be nearly 100% of what I want.
