Can someone please explain to me what I’m doing wrong? My piece is not really showing on most clients.

I posted it twice on nostr:npub1yzvxlwp7wawed5vgefwfmugvumtp8c8t0etk3g8sky4n0ndvyxesnxrf8q I tried habla.news and I couldn’t even log on. It seems to be visible on Amethyst.

It may be relay related. I'm not enough of an expert to know for sure though. I see it in any app I've tried, as long as it supported long form content.

This used to happen with all my articles, they wouldn't show in Highlighter for example for a long time. Just reposted and re-broadcast in case that helps.

I actually meant to ask your thoughts on the exact topic of this article sometime soon, about to read it 🙏

Do you have the same relays configured?

Amethyst probably supports the the type of content (kind) YakiHonne creates. Such notes are not visible on Primal though. If they are created with Highlighter, Primal categorizes them under Notes.

Long story short, not all clients are able to show all kinds.

Ok cool.

"Long Form Notes" are different, and many clients will not even show them. I think it is best to post a short note with the subject and a link to the long form content, but link to a client that will display it. Also, good clients will 'render' markdown so you can ensure your article will look right in any 'good client'.

example: (I'm no expert so my links may not work) ... but your article as a link to coracle below. Notice formatting is pretty much gone becuse you probably did not use markdown.

or a link to njump:

Anyone can just copy paste the naddr part to the client they want to use if their client is worth using.

In my opinion, long form clients should render comments on the long form posts but they don't. Coracle does this. njump does not. Hats off to hodlbod for a good client.

For a great example of long form content that has markdown formatting see this article about key managment, a topic that still is not resolved.

Thank you. I’m still learning.
