Nostr needs algos and algo choice and it has to just work or we’ll have a hard time growing.
Algo incentivizes content. Content incentivizes people. People incentivize content creators. Content creators bring more attention and more people.
Also maybe set up metrics that don’t suck and talk about them everywhere.

I don't think the intent was to discuss the philosophical differences between Michelangelo and the retarded idiots that dominate TikTok. Anyone with a brain knows the difference. But this is the modern age where both will share a space online. Nostr will have Michelangelo and videos of feeders. We have to accept that and move on. In fact, this actually highlights the importance of the original point. I want an algorithm built by those of us who value art and humanity and don't want go see garbage.
We have to call the total package something. Content is fitting. Some content is art, some is shit. You aren't going to have only one or the other on something like Nostr. I've already encountered some heinous shit in global view that I never want to see again (AI child porn). I want algorithms, relays, clients, etc that can be tailored to align with me.
There is no "we" for something like Nostr. Anyone can contribute. We need filter tooling at some point.
