Excess iron saturation can be bad for man's health, no?
Someone told me somethin rather a while ago.
Heme iron is much much safer than elemental iron, but even excess heme can raise ferritin levels.
I would get biannual labs to make sure I'm not exposing myself to a litany of iron dominance issues.
Diversify protein intake from just muscle meat to diary and collagenous cuts.
Take colostrum/lactoferrin as a starting place if iron has become dysregulated.
I suspect this is another reason that keto/carnivore people bald out early. Entrenched iron dominance is extremely stressful to the body.
Not too concerning if donating blood quarterly. Anyone animal based/carnivore/peaty should donate blood at minimum twice a year
Many don't. That's alot of blood for one body.
