if you want the cheaper options, they usually are made with toxic chemicals to prolong your period so you have to buy more. 🙃

u and me opposite in it.. i personally can't stand pads. i just use oralb tamps.. pricier ones bc they sit better.. hope it's healthier.. no idea what to look out for rly.. box says no toxic chems but you never know nowadays 😂
Yup. detoxproject.org tested 365 brand "organic" oats, and found 1500 ppb glyphosate. Somebody be lyin'.
If only the FDA would leave Amish farmers alone and enforce their own rules. Legal limit is 50ppb glyphosate for consumer products - and yet much of the non-organic wheat and corn tests out at ~1500ppb. This is caused by spraying the crop to "dry" it on a schedule before harvest, which is an unlabeled use, and itself an illegal practice. (Roundup is labeled *only* for weeding fields 7 or more days before planting.)
Damn. Never really thought about the financial cost to having periods. If i had to get cramps, hormonal changes, bleed, AND pay $10+ every month with no opt out ability, i’d be pissed. I assume you don’t just use the pads 100% of the time too. And then throw in price inflation on top of all that 😤
