I have goldenrod all around my yard. And it's my understanding that it is very useful as an anti-inflammatory and a decongestant. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing with it. Do you use the leaves, the flowers, or both? Do you make a tea or something else?

Also, do you all have a trusted resource that could point me in the right direction?

The only thing I have done with it is making an oil or salve with it. This is good for muscle soreness.

I just harvest the flowers and cover on olive oil for a couple weeks, I don't worry if a few leaves are in there. Then I filter the flowers out of the oil. Now you can thicken or use as is.

I have a couple books that go into other uses. I can look for them when I get home today.

Thanks

I wondered about goldenrod this summer as well.

I grew borage in my garden. No idea what to do with it.
