I wouldn’t fly then. It’s already bad enough as is. This looks miserable

yeah, the process of narrowing legroom on flights has noticably advanced in the last 14 years in my experience

it's the old saying "you get what you pay for" - they grow the fuel tank size so they can carry more weight but that necessarily means reducing legroom and comfort, i'd say probably the noise levels are another area they shave, for sure i've noticed especially Boeing 767 type planes have got noisier cabins than they had in 2012, as well as having lost maybe one or two inches of legroom

You are 100 percent right especially with the noise. That has gotten noticeably louder. The whole flying experience is horrible. I try to avoid if I can.. much rather drive

i prefer walking even, the same shit has been happening to cars as well, but mainly more taxes and fees to get the privilege to drive, and i've been dreaming about going on a boat, i know i'll have a transition to getting my sea legs (and probably a big jar of travel sickness pills to get there) but i am getting more and more the idea that i might actually catch a cruise ship for my next move, and then hopefully find some road transport to my destination

quite frankly yeah sick of the bullshit of air travel... i bet i can transport my most valuable pieces of tech much cheaper as luggage on a cruise ship

oh, that is the shit i'm talking about

i've been eyeing this option for travel since i was in Varna, a major black sea port of bulgaria, i have even tried a little at getting such a job for real

i'm not averse to working my way across the sea, it's only a week or two to land in the americas from here, and i can do several things that might be helpful for a ship's crew, fixing their tech, cleaning the work areas, and even maybe i could do some cooking

this looks interesting, so i'm going to look at this further, i'm sure it will lead me to something, i really really want to do my next big journey over the sea, and not in the air squashed into a noisy boeing aircraft

much greater chance of making friends and actually learning something
