i'm a communist, who agrees with some stuff from libertarianism 🙃😹

Anarcho-communist, but anyway, at which points ???

things like the NAP and small/limited/no government

i think those are keys to anarchism regardless of economic structure leaning

the main difference being that i consider corporations in the same regard as government

I'm in the camp everyone can go fuck themselves. Just leave me alone.

Where do you lean more specifically ??? (I'm not talking about left and right, I'm talking about something more specific)

Anarchocapitalist

Do you think you agree with a commie on any specific point ??? 👀

Other than basic knowledge and science topics, like how far away the moon is from us, I think we would agree on a lot of problems. However, we would differ in our solutions, such as preferring less state vs. more state.

I also believe that small, kibbutz-like communist societies could exist in Ancap. They would probably fail as time goes by, but provided they are not violent, they would be compatible.

This is precisely the answer I was waiting for and is the basis for the point I want to get to

I'm happy I could be an vehicle for your point. :-)

#acab tends to be a common ground

but, actually, no

Pretty opposed to imperialism.

I'm more of a libertarian that barely agrees with libertarians let alone communists 😉.

Really need to get around to reading Hoppe.

Sometimes having authority isn't antithetical to freedom, but protective of it, provided the authority is wise enough to recognize that a free people is more productive and requires less intervention. Ruling in line with, rather than at odds with natural law tends to cost less and result in fewer uprisings.

Alfred the Great understood this at least to a degree.

Excessive control and taxation is like being a farmer that harvests his crops when they first sprout, and eats his seeds he relies on for next years planting. In short, it's a failure of time preference.

Love this nuanced take. Authority and leaders aren’t exactly a bad thing, I think what’s needed is a guardrail against illegitimate and corrupt authority, similar to how the 2A was designed. It needs to be more than just a legal doctrine but a cultural bent as well

Far too often we conflate 'leader' with 'master.'
