Today is day one of my third year on nostr.

I feel like this is the year things really start getting wild because we are entering phase two of Bitcoin's war against the State.

As we enter this more dangerous phase, recall that danger is a gift because it brings out the best in us and forces us to up our game.

Make your purpose in life to conquer new territories of freedom, and to never surrender them.

Let your instinct for victory dominate over the desire for comfort and pleasure. The free individual is a warrior, because sovereignty can only be taken and not given.

Nostr and Bitcoin can only reach their full potential if all of us reach our own full potential. So become great. Then be great. Then remain great. And make others great along the way.

What are you considering Bitcoin's first war with The State, and when did it end? By my count, The State has been at war with bitcoin since the arrest of Ross Ulbricht and the subsequent claim to a particular dollar value attached to his bitcoin, thus bitcoin in general.

loved your video nostr:npub1mygerccwqpzyh9pvp6pv44rskv40zutkfs38t0hqhkvnwlhagp6s3psn5p but I think you underestimate the holders (i prefer the term "investors"). You correctly point out that if a merchant prefers one fork to another then that exerts some influence on which fork will win. but i think this is more true in the case of investors since a merchant can just accept either fork at the market rate and then their preference becomes in what fork to hold/invest in.
