Today is day one of my third year on nostr.

I feel like this is the year things really start getting wild because we are entering phase two of Bitcoin's war against the State.

As we enter this more dangerous phase, recall that danger is a gift because it brings out the best in us and forces us to up our game.

Make your purpose in life to conquer new territories of freedom, and to never surrender them.

Let your instinct for victory dominate over the desire for comfort and pleasure. The free individual is a warrior, because sovereignty can only be taken and not given.

Nostr and Bitcoin can only reach their full potential if all of us reach our own full potential. So become great. Then be great. Then remain great. And make others great along the way.

What are you considering Bitcoin's first war with The State, and when did it end? By my count, The State has been at war with bitcoin since the arrest of Ross Ulbricht and the subsequent claim to a particular dollar value attached to his bitcoin, thus bitcoin in general.

You correctly point out that if a merchant prefers one fork to another then that exerts some influence on which fork will win. but i think this is more true in the case of investors since a merchant can just accept either fork at the market rate and then their preference becomes in what fork to hold/invest in.

My post might be misleading, I've been on nostr for 2 full years and just *starting* my third year now.

I posted my first note with the Branle client written by nostr:npub180cvv07tjdrrgpa0j7j7tmnyl2yr6yr7l8j4s3evf6u64th6gkwsyjh6w6 but the best user experience was with noscl which is a command line client (also by fiatjaf).

All the meaningful discussion happened on telegram.

Gotta say Primal desktop is pretty solid. Could it be better? Sure...but as it sits, it's completely functional.

This is the way! I needed to hear this this morning. Thank you brother! I've been struggling with mentally and physically showing up.

I showed up at the gym today and put in a full workout. I feel like I could always do more but today I really pushed myself more than normal.

Your post resonates because wether it's your mental and physical state or it a fight against the actual state, we have to put the effort and time into fighting for ourselves and for what we want.

We can't just sit back acting like it's all inevitable. You cannot win unless you've put the effort in. Somtimes you have to do difficult things, things you really don't want to do... but you do it anyways because that's how you're going to achieve what you want in life.

everything we build takes another us step in front. (even if it breaks), bear with me this will make sense ...

they are constantly playing catch up. it is expensive and hard work, first they have to find "it", work it out, before they even think of trying to take it down. if the thing they pursue is broken .... ouch! explain that expense to the boss.

with everyone taking those steps forward everyday, their system burns ever more resources. it won't be long before it hyperinflates and then they loose.

all the while you are out in front - building ...
