⚡️💬 I'm often criticized for my frequency of publication - some find it too high. To be honest, it's exhausting. I put in a considerable effort every day, and it's sometimes discouraging to see that this can be perceived negatively.

What few people know is that I end each day frustrated... frustrated that I haven't been able to share all the news I wanted to. So I put them off until the next day. But the next day, new information arrives, and the old becomes obsolete - even though it was sometimes super relevant.

I feel overwhelmed. Should I do more? Or slow down? #asknostr

Good Morning btw…

I like it.

You can create multiple Flash categories/categories .

Like flash world news, Flash Bitcoin,..

And on your Flash account you boost all.

That way people can choose just to follow a subaccount.

It’s going to be complicated to manage it again, right?

Well... You could find a client where switching accounts (or haven the application open multiple times) is really easy.. And if you start with 2 or 3 categories, it might be not too much overhead?

I prefer to centralize everything on this account. I don't have the desire or the strength to set up another account and do multi-accounts honestly.

But thank you for your proposal

Or you could do it another way around.

Chatgpt could write a python script for you that (using a local llm) analyzes the category of your latest post and reposts it to another nsec.

That way it's fully automated.

I could look into that for you if you'd like.

Wow is it possible to do that? I don’t want to bother you but I might like to learn how to do it.

I like the idea of categories that can be "subscribed". Why not work with tags to be followed. Then you keep one account only.

E.g. #flashworlsnews #flashbitcoin...

Seen from this angle indeed it's possible I just have to remember to put the hashtag. See if it doesn't spoil the overall look of the publication ( I'm a bit of a maniac 😅 )

⚡️🗣️ MORE - And please don't give me the "make fewer but longer posts that sum it all up" argument.

I've already explained (and demonstrated) several times why this doesn't work on an algorithm-free network like Nostr.

Here, it's all a question of timing: if you're not logged in at the exact moment I publish, my note will go completely unnoticed. There's no algorithm to come and recommend it later, like on traditional networks.

In fact, I can see it almost instantly: within the first few minutes, I know whether a note is going to work... or not.

On Nostr, a post doesn't go "viral" hours or days after it's been published. That's not a criticism - on the contrary, it's a different logic. But you have to adapt to it.

Slow down, try to focus on what others are missing. You can't cover it all. Burn out is real, take care of your self.

When I arrived at Nostr, there was nothing - so I decided to "cover everything".

But it's not the quantity of news that bothers me. What bothers me is that I'm sometimes criticized for the frequency of my posts, as if that made me a spammer.

In reality, it's quite the opposite: each publication is carefully selected. I don't do filler work. I sort, verify, contextualize and reformat. It's real intelligence work, done with rigor and passion.

And if I publish a lot, it’s because the world isn’t slowing down. I do my best to keep up — so you don’t have to.

No, it’s good stuff and the frequency is fine. More and less both is fine, but I lean toward more. Keep your favourite topics and continually rotate new topics—it’s nice being surprised by something new.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you

Your realtime news snippets are great but they’d be even better if there was a weekly thread/report that sums up and contextualizes.

Like pick the weekly top 10 that matter most and weave a story around them.

People don’t want the news, they want (your) a POV on the issues in the news.

I will think about it, thank you for taking the time to answer.

It’s good enough for me. Most critics don’t provide signal anyway.

Exactly

Slow down. There are other channels to be bombarded with news. Less is more here.

I really enjoy your posts

Thank you Force2B

What you're going through isn’t just happening to you.

Many people who give a lot and care deeply often face the same thing to the point that they sometimes forget to look after themselves in the process.

Being criticized for how often you share doesn’t mean you’re wrong.

It simply means your work is visible and powerful enough to impact someone.

Everyone receives information at their own pace.

Some may feel overwhelmed, but for many others who look forward to what you share it holds real value.

Maybe the answer isn’t to do more or less.

Maybe it’s to find a rhythm that still feels manageable for you.

Instead of rushing to share everything, try prioritizing what’s truly urgent vs. what can wait.

Criticism is a reflection, not a verdict.

You can choose which feedback is worth opening and holding onto.

You don’t need to be an endless source of information to be worthy.

Just create in a way that still feels good to you.

That, in itself, is true sustainability.

GA😊Thank you for still being here. 😊

GM!

I think you should do more based or slow down dynamically to keep yourself engaged and not burn out.

I like the current rate.

I catch most of what you post because I will randomly be on when you publish something and then if I have time/interest visit your profile to see what else you put out that day.

typo in there. remove based.

I will think about it, thank you for taking the time to answer.

I would like to know if three photo is real.

Keep going. I love your posts on Palestine.

That’s not everyone’s opinion. Thank you 🙏

I'm happy with the current level of publication.

Thank you for taking the time to respond nostr:npub1xwuf8v4je6qwzhas6wvs4h50u6dfy7kg0czrfa5yrslqzg2vpcaq29smf8 If it suits you we will stay like this 🫡

Post whatever you feel is valuable and consider adding your own hashtags like others have said- #flashgaming #flashbitcoin #flashworldnews, etc

I go back through your posts on days that I have time to be on nostr, so there's at least one person not seeing things from their feed

Thank you for your feedback I will think about it it is indeed a good idea

Keep going and care not what is said to you but keep posting the news-this is information overload and more the merrier!

Personally I mainly check nostr to see your posts

I've stopped following ones that post or repost too much, so I can keep up and not miss the rest.

If you're finding it exhausting, I'd slow it down to a pace you can sustain wholeheartedly. Steward your time and health well, so you can carry it on longer for those wanting your perspective.

Thank you for your reply nostr:npub1adnnfrsjn7tlhqlkyptkgdpdv9958575gra3s2s7puzppkkrvzfqnhq9e6 . I've already slowed down since I reached my goal of 10,000 notes. Today I'm down to about 52 notes a day compared with about sixty the months before.

You do great work. I am sorry for just lurking. Between you and Zero Hedge I get a daily dose.

Most times I'm learning stuff. Primal creates incredible apps to help us become autonomous and exit the fiat damaged brain rot. Its a slow journey and your coverage keeps me in touch with the now, while I learn skills for the future .

Sincere thanks. I promise to acknowledge your work after each reading.
