I know some people who do this in the coffee when the water contains "chalk"

Can you help me understand the why behind it?

I had understood that salt helps to remove bitterness and that this probably also has to do with water quality. I drink my coffee without salt so I do not know if this will work

Sure, for mouthwash

Ahh interesting

I know someone who does put salt in his water as part of his treatment program for lyme disease, I think the salt/C protocol or something, helps to kill various pathogens and parasitic organisms in the body I guess. It has been a total life changer for him.

No. Salt makes you more thirty

That's why Dasani making a killing because that water full of salt and you never kill the thirst

I put a pinch of salt each in two seperate one liter bottles and make sure I drink them throughout my day. One before work and one during.

I have no current source to share, but I believe it adds a few minerals and also helps the body to retain more of the water.

Good quality salt, not table salt.

Like Himalayan pink or something else?

That's what I like to use, but I'm sure any good sea salt would be fine too.

It's nice and fine so it mixes easily.

I used to but now I use trace mineral drops.

What does it add?

Yes.

Go on ...

I have a medium size bottle of distilled water in the morning with ionic minerals and a teaspoon of salt. It's briney. Flushes my guts. Supposedly allows for cellular hydration. Great way to start the day. I haven't done anything with sun charged or structured water.

I've heard of others doing this for better hydration. Don't know enough about it

No, never tried this before

Why would you put salt in your water , isn't there salt in your food ?

Yes. All the time. Usually with lemon and sometimes a sweetener like agave or maple syrup
