Speaking of, I once mixed my own pee with kerosene and sprinkled it over a path a grizzly was using to come into our camp in Alaska. It never came back. 🤷🧸

I used the Zero-brand water filters for a time. There's a metal counter that comes with it. You stick it in the water and it tells you the levels of metal. It also comes with a chart that shows the average amount for each state.
You'd be surprised what's in the tap.
I don't drink from the tap anymore unless I have to.
I have one of those. And a Berekey. And others. We use spring and stream water, which is filtered to differing degrees depending on use.
