Same. For me they laugh about it then go right back to assuming the current systems has its reasons and who are they to question it.

I think it takes a belief and knowledge that there is a way out if you try hard enough. The same game all wealthy folks have been playing for centuries. It takes the understanding that we are living in a "game" and you can't be passive about it. You need to be thinking about money at least as often as you exercise imo. Most people don't want that, I'm not saying it was my favorite workout routine either, but it doesn't seem like a choice if you ever want to get the gun away from your head.

The people in power play this game all day every day, if you aren't they will always be ahead of you. Most people I know just want to work their silly little jobs because it's fun and or easy, go home and forget about the struggle with a cold one and have some fun on the weekend. Eventually they will pay their $600k mortgage $100k in cars and probably another $50k in loans for home repairs.

Yeah, so bizarre, but I guess most people are meant to be serfs.

Maybe. I think the red pill required massive daily effort and rewards on low time preference, I often think about blue pilling it. Not to say that I feel like "giving up", but I guess I often question the sacrifice or perceived "risk" I may or may not be taking.

I can totally understand why people enjoy the blue pill is what I'm trying to say. Especially in software :) Just be lobbing out javascript apps all day on cloudflare and github.

Then you wouldn't be on our team. 🤙🏼
