Mental health problems are a real thing and good therapists can still help people that are poor. I’ve seen it happen and experienced it myself. But most of the problems in the world are from government and fiat. And they are made way worse. I remember listening to a former Soviet spy talk about how they used to give people things like meditation and other mental exercises to get them to accept their shitty situations. It works well enough to help them keep pushing but it’s sad because fiat keeps them from advancing.

I'm not sure. I know from experience more money doesn't guarantee more happiness. It can just as easily compound your suffering.

In your hypothetical probably the Lambo seems easier. At least I'd be dry. But I would also have an expensive impractical car with huge insurance, gas and mechanical payments hanging over my head. Is the Lambo paid for?

Under the bridge I would be uncomfortable, and I might get wet. But I also have skills and could find employment to ease that problem, it would be a short term burden if I wanted it to be. Do I have access to my Bitcoin savings?

I'm still crying about something, suffering differently in either situation.

I didn't expect you to take it this seriously. Yes, the lambo is paid for and you have enough to cover the insurance. This really shows bitcoiners are really picky. 🤭

The under the bridge alternative is mostly dry too. It's a little bit uphill so the rain doesn't mess with you. You get to construct a small shed.

Of course. The nuance was that you get to be rich after doing porn or be poor without doing it.

There is no virtue in being poor just for the sake of it. There are a handful of exceptions, but I doubt any are on nostr (yet/ever).
