šŸ“˜ Silicon, by Federico Faggin — memoir of the microprocessor inventor, blending tech innovation with deep reflections on consciousness.

Quote: ā€œWe can build a robot that detects the molecules of a rose and identifies it—but it would have no feeling of the smell, no awareness, because a machine has no consciousness.ā€

šŸ“• The Kybalion — timeless Hermetic philosophy on mentalism, analogy & polarity as keys to reality.

Quote: ā€œMind (as well as metals and elements) may be transmuted, from state to state; degree to degree; condition to condition; pole to pole; vibration to vibration.ā€

šŸ“— Anatomy of the State, by Murray N. Rothbard — a sharp critique showing how the state thrives on coercion & propaganda.

Quote: "Just as the two basic and mutually exclusive interrelations between men are peaceful cooperation or coercive exploitation, production or predation, so the history of mankind, particularly its economic history, may be considered as a contest between these two principles. On the one hand, there is creative productivity, peaceful exchange and cooperation; on the other, coercive dictation and predation over those social relations.

If the seventeenth through the nineteenth centuries were, in many countries of the West, times of accelerating social power, and a corollary increase in freedom, peace, and material welfare, the twentieth century, has been primarily an age in which State power has been catching up—with a consequent reversion to slavery, war, and destruction."

Reading books is good. Just remember to keep an open mind and come to your OWN conclusions. Sounds obvious but so many wave a flag. Nothing is at it appears šŸ˜œšŸ’œšŸš’šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§šŸ˜Ž

The Kybalion was a good read. Will note down the other two on the wish list.

Mmh šŸ™šŸ¼

Kybalion šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼

My recommenation:

J. Krishnamurti - Freedom from the Known

Thx

Anatomy of the State is a must read along with the Road to serfdom, they are short reads that unpack the workings of the state in a very logical manner. They read like they were written yesterday. Will check out the other two soon šŸ¤

I listened to this one. It wasn’t so short.. and at times a bit dense but agreed - super important. Especially in light of when it was written

Definitely not as short or straightforward as Anatomy of the State but when read/listened to back to back, you’re definitely more radicalized towards desiring more freedom and less state control😁 Overally a good thing

The Law and None Dear Call it Conspiracy.

"If the seventeenth through the nineteenth centuries were, in many countries of the West, times of accelerating social power, and a corollary increase in freedom, peace, and material welfare, the twentieth century, has been primarily an age in which State power has been catching up—with a consequent reversion to slavery, war, and destruction."

Why isn't this teached in class ????

Why are so few capable of seeing what fiat does/causes ?

I’m sure you can get into some classes to teach this… when there’s a will there’s a way :)

Everythink can "be found".

But some things must be taught... by the default education system.

I know.. I was suggesting that you ā€œbe the change you’d like to see in the worldā€. Go teach it

Awesome! Thank you so much! I’ve had ā€œThe Kybalionā€ and ā€œThe Anatomy of the Stateā€ on the list for quite a while. This is a nice nudge to get on with it and create some episodes for them both. My audience loves that stuff as I do!

My recommendations for you dear nostr:nprofile1qqsx5dvc2g3cmjgz4mgelwlk5p2ln2ljrsw23y2ar38z0agd7tefpkgpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejsz9thwden5te0v4jx2m3wdehhxarj9ekxzmnyxdpsly:

- ā€œLetting Goā€ by David Hawkins

- ā€œSovereign Individualā€ by Davidson and Rees-Mogg

- ā€œBecoming Supernaturalā€ by Joe Dispenza

Thanks for the initiative! Keep it up!

Thanks for the reco’s!!

I really love the books by Federico Faggin and his way of combining science and spirituality

Recommendation: Irreducible by Federico Faggin

Is that the new one? I read this first so I can get to the new one.

Yes the new one

How hard was it too read the Kybalion? I started one of these hermetic books once but got really bored with the language

I listened to it. So it wasn’t hard for me…

Whoa, thanks for the tip. Anatomy of the State sounds really good.

I'm not sure our preferences in literature overlap but If you want a couple recommendations anyway I'll give you mine.

1) The Holy Bible. I cant say I've read it cover to cover but I'm almost there and probably worth doing at least once in your life.

2) Autobiography of a Yogi - Paramhansa Yogananda.

I had a more spiritual focus for most of my life and very little economic focus but now that I am reading a little more in that genre I am pleasantly surprised to find some universal truths apply in all aspects of life.

I think I'll skip the third, nothing else really stands out to me.

Cheers

I’ve studied the old testimony at school for 12 years… I think I had enough then…

Anatomy of the State, by Murray N. Rothbard

Is well worth a read imo

Anatomy of the State is great, will have to add the other two to my to read list.
