What is everyone using to store photos?

I pulled my photos from the cloud a while back on an external drive, but recently bought a NAS to store on my own cloud ☁️
Right now, they're scattered between a number of external drives, but my long-term plan is to learn how to self-host a NextCloud instance and to organize all of my photos therein.

I would like to start backing up to StorJ, but while all tests I did looked good I never fully get to it.
