When the legal matter involves a crime that was committed some time ago the evidence trail is often quite weak. A civil case has a lower standard of proof to a criminal case (the balance of probabilities) and so it is easier for the case to succeed on this level.
Then if the matter is successful the victim could file a criminal lawsuit after the fact - and the successful civil matter can be referenced. This is not about money - it comes down to the nature of the case and the likelihood of conviction.โ
I suspect this is the only avenue. I don't care enough to research it but it's likely not possible to go criminal due to the statute of limitations. Also criminal doesn't actually provide restitution. Which when you think about it is odd since it's called a justice system.

Once you have a voice that can reach millions of people, it needs to be controlled by the CIA, etc. so you have to be compromised so you continue to do what they say and put out only approved narratives. One evening I thought I would watch the R Kelly documentary, took me a whole bottle of wine and three sleepless nights to get over what I have seen. The people mentioned here were friends with him. Maybe a group of ppl with the same mindset? It had to start somewhere and they were a power music money friendship gna gna power pack for a very long time.

I can only tell why I watched the docu, wouldnโt just recommend it like that. I celebrated at parties to their music; I am a product of pop culture and wanted to understand what I was subconsciously consuming. Additionally, I had strange vibes about some of the artistsโฆ
