I really like https://coolors.co - it’s a website you can use without creating an account. Tons of features and ways to modify the generated color palettes. It’s worth taking the time to watch the tutorial to understand what all the icons mean so you can get closer to the color palette you want. You can also see palettes from other folks.

material design has a system for this if that you are looking for something to make decent website schemes, it's based on an accent and a secondary colour and a base (dark or light)
almost all web designers worth a damn use this system or adapt off it
