Your preference, tbh. I prefer the morning, usually. By the time I'm done with work, I'm done. So, for me, it's better in the mornings.
That's a good point. I'm often knocked out after work, too. However, I thought that it can also help to switch off in the evening after work. But if I can't even get myself going, then that doesn't help either. ππ½
Definitely does not help. I run or bike in the morning, and meditate in the evenings. Just sit and breathe with no distractions. Helps to shed the stress of the day and calms you down in preparation for bed. Hope that helps! π€πΌ
Thanks ππ½ That sounds good in any case. I would like to set up fixed routines. And not just train occasionally.
New routines can be difficult to implement in ti our already busy lives. It takes discipline. But, if you commit yourself, you'll get in to it in no time. Also, a support system is important. Someone to keep you in check. ππ€πΌ

Morning run, get you metabolism active for the day. Get some sunshine. And prepare yourself to run just after waking up. Prepare your clothes and shoes before going to bed. Make it as easy as possible to go. In the evening the excuses start to come. I'm tired, I already walked a lot. You don't have those when you just got out of bed and your running shoes next to your bed.
Okay, you have convinced me. I will start tomorrow. The weekend seems fitting for me to start. I will implement the tips. Put everything ready for me in the evening. With firm commitment and clear discipline. I will report ππ½
I agree with Paul but it's partly a matter of preference. I feel so much better throughout the day when I workout in the morning. My head feels clearer, I feel calmer, and I feel like I already accomplished something. My wife prefers working out in the afternoon as she's not a morning person, so working out in the morning just makes her grumpy.
Paul's tips about having everything ready the night before is good advice. Then, in the morning, if it's all ready it will be staring at you like "you really got this stuff ready and you're not gonna follow through??" My running shoes are really judgmental. π
ππ½ I am an absolute morning person βΊοΈ I think today was already a good start. But I still have to get one or the other in terms of equipment
