of course i'm not serious. rust is Satan in programming language form, from the great Satan Nutscrape Corporation that has rebranded itself as an NGO and upped their budget to 110% on brainwashing propaganda to create "rustaceans" a cult of people who think that their language doesn't have a garbage collector.
spoiler alert: it has a garbage collector, that requires you to clutter your code with inane annotations instead of just making a good quality concurrrent mark and sweep GC like they have for Go.
plus the code is ugly as Sin, unreadable, and full of retarded rules that make it impossible to read without months of practice. it's worse than trying to learn german.
damn... and here I was using chatgpt copy & paste.. I managed to get bbcodes working and I was trying to add custom emoji or icon support next to display names in Amethyst, using externally hosted images (like PNGs via URL), similar to how profile pictures are handled and have Amethyst scale it down to 32x32 or something. Then we can truly have any emoji in our username that we want.
But I got a headache and chatgpt is not skilled enough to handle such complex tasks with such a bad complex app.
I might have to try Firebender, but even so I'm not a developer and I think if should just learn the basics because vibe coding gives me a headache. It's pretty much copying and pasting.

At some point, when my Go-hype has died down a little, I will sit down, and learn Kotlin (or whatever Amethyst uses) and then go nuts. =)
But inviting PRs via vibecode might be a strat to get people to throw around ideas, make some code, test stuff and yeet the useless crap - and perhaps find a little gem in the mine. o.o
