I didn't miss the part where it is poorly hacked together and doesn't bother supporting even basic signing methodologies that have been out and working for enough time to both work well enough and be easy enough to integrate by any sensible Dev.
This whole thing is now in my "I will likely never trust it even if it outlasts the initial hype" box. I won't even happily dance on it's grave when it turns into an aborted nothingburger. (My speculation, as I've seen nothing from the dev indicating the prerequisite ability and foundation to improve the thing on a timely enough fashion to prevent death by a thousand cuts.)
Oh. You are the primary dev, Jeff. I'll amend some of my statement. (I don't pay much attention to who is doing what since, well, nostr dev land is full of people I tend to want to have nothing to FYI with.)
My note may seem insulting to you, but hey! That's my impression of it so far. Very aptly named since it's not functional (IMO) and very undesirable in it's current implementation.
To actually get me (and others who have similar opinions already) to change my mind, you'll need to immediately implement amber login. I don't particularly GAF about ios devices because they are already so compromised that developing this for them I'd a waste of one's life, and should be avoided as that time and effort could be focused on android and Linux where we all have some reasonable assurances of not having the digital panopticon dead-heading e2ee by OCR via on device "AI." (At least with android, you can, if you select the device properly, run flavors of android that don't include that BS.)
Yes, these are wildly harsh opinions, but, I don't take the hype surrounding what you built lightly. I'm deadly serious. I know you've put in a lot of time and effort just to be told by an ignorant idiot (that's me, as I'm very self-aware) that "it's not good enough." But, it isn't and you aren't. No one is. I don't trust you or really any other dev with my main keypair. It is more valuable to me than even my meager stack. Until YOU treat it as being worth more than 21million BTC, I don't see you being serious enough about handling nsecs.

GM. Iβm on the TestFlight. Youβll see two chats from my testing npub. I tried to start one and it gave me an error, so I tried again. Got the same error but when I went back I saw it had made two separate chats anyway.

Took me some reconfiguring on my android bc my device security didnβt like the APK but got it reconfigured, downloaded the zap store, downloaded Amber signer, and downloaded white noise :D
You can now test message me there- my simplex rotations still work
Could someone already establish a DM channel with someone? I only was able to create a new keypair and message this one. But not yet with any user that was not me. So eighter I am so unpopular, everyone has this problem, or my setup is wrong (would not know hich of those)
Any one who writes or answers me would may help to kill this doubt or strengthen it.

From a UX POV how does it differentiate from , say, SimpleX, if one uses a different npub than the public Nostr one?
