Followed around 200 people and posted 500 notes over an entire year and thinks Nostr was the problem. nostr:note17yfeg3kzx5f2ucs2k4anz5zlknge3psm6ejymmc4mkp3ekljux2segpt9z

lol Who was it?
Nobody.
nostr:npub1mc20uche0cy599vpl850aschpu7wteundgsnf0msep79lu3fu5aq3r4ptv isn't going anywhere thankfully 🫂
“Thankfully” 😅
they also reposted for most of their content. nothing wrong with that, of course. they added their thoughts to their reposts that were mostly in the vein of agreement. one doesn't have to be confrontational or contrarian to be social but it doesn't really give others an avenue to engage with you.
I think it's important to post original content from your life, your experiences and your own knowledge to be able to find your people on nostr.
i don't think we should vilify people for merely sharing their opinion. i follow lesser people and probably the same amount of notes spread over time. its a good feedback. We can remain arrogant, develop this cult culture in belittling everyone else who disagrees with nostr or we can take it as feedback, understand what could help make it better and move forward.
This cult culture of belittling people is slowly chipping away my love for nostr. He did no personal attack to you but merely shared his thoughts, but you decided to personally attack this person and shame him/her and that's not right.
Thank you for your thoughtful notes. I see and appreciate them.
To me, it's the old twitter culture leaking in, which I came here to avoid (not that I was ever really on twitter).
I don’t feel bad. First, they deleted their account, so there’s no one to belittle. Second, in an entire year they didn’t seem to absorb anything from or contribute anything to what makes this protocol unique or useful. They can just quietly go back to where they came from. Why even bother posting a note about it?
