Why do the tv people love to censor swear words and nudity, but never horror movie trailers?
I don’t know about you, but I’de much rather see a random titty every once and a while than a creepy child possessed by a demon screaming in my face 🤷♀️

In 1984 the ratings guidelines changed, so that nudity was no longer allowed broadly but especially in PG and PG-13 stuff. This effected TV as well.
To compensate and continue drawing viewers, as without nudity things became more boring, there was an increase in violence, blood squirting, horror, etc. These things were still pretty fine for general audiences 🤷♀️
I think things would be nicer if we all saw and appreciated more titties and less beheadings or assassinations, but my opinion doesn't really matter I guess. TLDR blame Reagan.

There's tons of pre-1984 movies and TV available on YouTube and Internet archive. Always titties and as a bonus a lot of them feature lots of random adorable animals b-roll. This is how I spend my free time 🤣

This actually varies by country. In the US a random titty is frowned upon, but e.g. in New Zealand there's common and accepted nudity in media.

A friend of mine, was a member of parliament in Iceland from the Pirate Party, he used to joke that Iceland should pass a law forcing Facebook to respect Icelandic values in what the moderate. Allowing sex and nudity on public content for all and restricting violence and horror.
As far as I know it never got beyond a joke. In theory he was in a position to do something about it but I doubt it would have been adopted as a law. He ended up getting sent around the world as a parliamentary representative for EFTA, the mini-EU alternative bloc of Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.

Since having kids this has made me really annoyed. In London there are horror movie scenes on the side of buses that I need to explain.
But also often still incredibly sexual images everywhere, just technically no nipples.

because we are conditioned to believe that it is all entertainment and those do not exist whilst on the same breath believing in God. You cannot believe in God and ignoring that there are dark energies exist. Acknowledging it does not mean you are overpowered but rather taking the power away from it.
