Being able to say "no" to anything that isn't going to get you closer to your most important goals. Way too many people just reach at opportunity arbitrarily or are unfocused in what they do, or just want to please or help other people and so they never have a true direction or are aimed at anything of consequence. Then years go by and they are no closer to what they want in life because they just kept saying "sure" to whatever crossed their path that looked like it had some potential.
Learning when and why to say "no" to something, and getting the courage and skill to do it when it doesn't align with your path, is a super power that will do more than most give it credit for.
