Have you looked into getting a Start9 server? What web browser do you use?

As for your question, I made the switch over to FOSS and tech sovereignty last year! In addition to what you've got going on, consider Standard Notes for your notes. Obviously, Graphene OS if you have a Pixel phone. Binary Eye for a QR scanner that allows you to see what the code contains before opening it.

I'm currently working on switching from Google Photos to Immich. I need to start using OsmAnd~ instead of Google Maps, but Gmaps is just too powerful 🫠

If you have an Android then you can essentially replace every Google/Samsung/proprietary essential app with a FOSS alternative.

1) I don't know what a start9 server is. I mostly have used Google Chrome as a browser but with the Linux Mint it is Firefox which I've used before too

2) binary eye seems very cool, thank you for the recommendation!

3) I have an android but Verizon has it locked so I need to get a different phone before I can get FOSS alternatives there. That's fine for me because there's a lot to do with the computer and I'm already super overwhelmed 😅

https://start9.com/ check it out! it's pretty sweet. I'm waiting for the new OS which I hear will support Docker, which will open using Start9 for so many more applications!

ah ok, well, feel free to let me know/make a new note when you switch and I can recommend more FOSS 🫡

Thank you so much 🥰

Anytime! 🫂
