Ok, so which Star Wars are we talking about here?
This is a very hot topic with me as an OG Star Wars fan.
You got the original trilogy. Then you got the prequels. Along with the novels from the extended universe. To me these stay true to the original franchise. Star Wars the Clone wars cartoon being an extension of this gets a safe pass too. This is all wonderful, glorious, and good.
However once Disney purchased the Star Wars franchise and killed the extended universe for profiteering and propaganda. All hell breaks loose on what is good and what has become absolute woke horseshit.
The Mandalorian series is very much reluctantly good. I can not deny that. This has proven to be a one off fluke though, because it continuously gets fucked up.
Anything and everything else that has been made in the name of Star Wars is absolutely unwatchable to me. I would rather get a prostate exam from a 1st year medical student with long sharp nails and no prior experience giving exams whatsoever. Than to suffer through watching any of the bastardization which happened to the franchise.
I wish George Lucas could buy it back and restore the honor, because as of right now the franchise is dead to me. What we see now is some voodoo zombie woke bullshit. Unworthy of the sacred name of Star Wars.

I watch Lost Highway this weekend. That was incredible. Same style as Mulholland drive: hazy like a dream, something changes, nothing makes sense but beautiful the whole time 🤣
His movies have it all, just all out of order and impossible to make sense of. Funny too.

True Romance is one of the best movies ever. That one scene with Patricia Arquette is brutal.
The reboot of twin peaks I felt was unwatchable
Never seen the reboot. Watched the beginning of the original series. I should get on that. Is the show hazy like the two movies ?
It has a sequence I don’t know how to explain except that it is kinda like tv static (white noise) 🤷🏻♂️the lasts for about 1/2 hour. 😂

There are some good scenes, but it is unbearable to watch.

I think it was toei animation. They probably thought it was harmful to their IP. They made fun of the show a lot and most people prefer the abridged to the original too lol
As one of the most hardcore og dragonballz fans. Yes. I agree whole heartedly. Dragonball z abridged was better than the original. It said everything that was never spoken. It was the true heart and soul of the series. I have no desire to watch the original series anymore now that the abridged series exists.
However this is not hurting it. This is high praise for the original creators. Who had a tendency to let powerups and screaming matches at each other go on for far longer than necessary.

Star wars is great... Except for when they recycle lines or have glaring plot holes or have Kylo kill his father or change the story from the books or have cartoonish evil villains or cartoonish toddler aliens or ....
