Replying to Avatar Sourcenode

All the new Toyotas look great and have better MPG, but the switch from their old engine to a new one has me hesitating.

I trust Toyota more than any other manufacturer, but I also trust the V6 over a turbo V4.

Anybody here have some experience to share?

2000 sr5 v6 here.. very trusty. I am suspicious of the newer, for no good reason really, other than more computerized and turbos yeah they always make complicated and complications have more opportunity to break more.
