As a woman, I can confidently say I can handle the trash that gets thrown or will get thrown at me on here. I’ve not had a negative experience from men or anyone nor do I invite it.
But that’s also because I’ve been one tough cookie my whole life. Attacks or harassment mean nothing to me because I don’t allow anyone behind a phone or computer to ruin a moment of my day.
I don’t live in this space. I have an actual real life I thoroughly enjoy. Go touch snow.

So far, I believe we have a community who understands and keeps most of the details of their personal lives private, as they should. The whole point of this place is freedom (at least most dev positions), if you put too much of yourself out there your going to attract attention. I feel like you should just be ready for it, that doesn't excuse morally wrong behavior to be clear.
