Does mixing them in the same jar like that make something cool?

I don't love the beetroot we buy from the store. I think it would be in vinegar... I'm going to be growing my own, but I haven't looked into what I could do with them post harvest.

Peel and dice into the shape you want, then you can freeze, pickle or can them.

I will! Apparently my mum buys it fresh and pickles them herself. So I have to see if I can improve the taste of beetroot in my salads.

Just different flavors. I like the spicy sweet but you can ferment anything you like.

Kimche, Giardiniera etc all similar techniques.
