Just to be clear, when I say you are trusting the wrong people now I am talking about those who are telling you things like Bitcoin Core has been hijacked and that spam is an existential threat to bitcoin. All that stuff is designed to create a split among bitcoin users and it's being pushed onto relative newbies to bitcoin by snakes like Kratter at Bitcoin Univeristy. Marty & Matt know it's bullshit, so does Adam Back, American Hodl, Lyn Alden, Calle, etc.... Have you wondered why Saylor doesn't bother talking about it? Ignore the FUD.

I knew nothing of the split inside Bitcoin Core. But I understand Marty and Matt were aware of it. The anger comes from finding out about the split from Mathew Kratter and he backs it with relevant evidence. Calling him a snake is a deliberate psyop to denigrate. I've seen that pattern before.

My point is this:

1. This first broke out in 2013.

2. Did Marty and Matt decide that Bitcoin Core is a nothing burger. They made a choice - to keep followers in the dark by implying nothing to see here.

If that is the case that is not BTC Protocol .

3. Someone had a thread advertising a podcast with Jeff Booth over this issue . It didn't happen.

4. Trust is the big issue here. Verified trust.

5. And as for the BTC Nodes

Go push for a hard fork then if you are so concerned. If bitcoin has been this way for over 12 years and it's still doing fine but you are worried of a future existential threat to it you should hard fork it just like the Bcashers did in 2017 because they believed bitcoin would die if it didn't increase the size of the blocks. You are just the same as them.

1. Why wasn't this addressed in an open forum.

2. This directly affects BTC nodes. What is the impact on them?

3. I sense the deep resentment from both sides and name calling seems to be your response. So

4. Who benefits?

5. Who suffers?

6. Where does it leave the nodes.

The silence is deafening .

Who has the power to force people against their will?

Why is it happening?

What is the future for BTC Core.

Michael Saylor hasn't said anything about it at all. Interesting that someone with such a massive stack of bitcoin at risk should not speak up about it regardless of your opinions of him. I imagine has has a number of nodes running too.

Matt & Marty don't bother talking about it because they understand it's not the problem you think it is.

I'm not here to answer a list of questions you have. Just like the big blockers of 2017 the anti-spam bitcoiners have found an easy to understand solution to a complex problem they don't understand. You would do well to trust Marty & Matt rather than Kratter and the others who are leading you astray. Good luck 👍

Children's safety is being used in Europe as a way to force tech companies to create backdoors in their encryption apps such as Signal and Whatsapp. Many naive citizens in Europe approve of such measures. The tweet above implies naive bitcoiners would approve of the same backdoors if people like Kratter started to push for them in the name of child safety in his dumb videos

I follow Joshua Stylman on Substack - His latest article The Modern Slave should give some credence to why Elon Musk has reservations about AI safety. DARPA, Palantir namely through Peter Thiel, Bill Gates and Sam Altman are pushing this through as fast as they can, before Governments regulate .

It is obvious that you do not take the time to listen and back check Matthew Kratters work. He commands respect . You don't.

I'm not interested in who wins the Core/Knots debate . The Nodes still have the ability to choose confirmation . Regardless of whether the size of the blocks increase.

Some people exist by consuming fear. They spend their time reading/watching/listening to media regarding all the horrors that the future will bring. I won't say I am nothing but a total optimist because I like to be grounded but I am certainly optimistic for the future. I do believe we have a decade or so of more turmoil before we start turning the corner though.

Apparently liberals/progressives have higher rates of unhappiness & depression than conservatives. Their constant worries about democracy, fascism, climate change etc affect their mental well being, they spend too much time consuming FUD. Kratter spews FUD. His channel used to be educational, now it is almost exclusively about Core being compromised, CP on the blockchain and all the other BS. It's FUD and his audience is drinking it up.

Some people prefer perspective. Some people prefer perception . One is based on reality. The other is based on assumptions . It is important to know which one is being used, when communicating.

Since Covid lockdown - governments, fake media, Big 7, pharmaceuticals, some influencers have weaponised fear, to control, coerce, manipulate. Electronics are designed to collect our habits, decipher, repackage and auction our data to the highest bidder.

This is happening today - in the real world .
