Anyone know of a client that has a built in PDF reader ? no need to leave the client same thing as we already have with media formats but for books n stuff maybe .PDF and/or .EPUB

if not does this need to be a NIP or can it just be as easy as clients choose how to show this format to their users from a UI/UX standpoint

I'm not sure if there are any apps with an integrated, native PDF reader. I think everything I've seen calls your external reader. But I'm not 100% sure. Hopefully, someone else knows better than me and can share that info.

PDF support has lots of issues including being a memory hog and adding security risks to the app. It's one of those things that should be really easy until you start to see how deep the PDF spec goes. Think edits le PDF forms, like the IRS docs and so on.

The browser has decent PDF support, and depending on the server you uploaded to it can show it in the browser
