The main reason I use #Nostr is to zap people who put our #bitcoin stickers in public.
But it's not always the dream people make it out to be...
Amethyst + Alby Connect = works for a few dozen zaps and then I have to restart my phone to continue
Damus + Alby Connect = straight up doesn't work. Using a different wallet takes forever for each zap.
Primal + built-in wallet = fails on 50-80% of zaps.
Nostr + Bitcoin = cool, but we have a long way to go 😅

I get that issue also when trying to zap others their payment won't work. I am using wallet of Satoshi and never had a problem with them. Now that I think about it I'm not sure if it's their wallet that had issues or mine. Hard to know.
I'm working on setting up a BTCPay server to control my own Bitcoin and zaps because I don't like depending on other wallets.
Setting up your own BTCPay Server is difficult it's not for thr average user.
Hopefully in the future their is an easy way to host your own lightning wallet because there is a big demand for people to want to have a lightning wallet but there isn't mant trustable wallet hosts and setting up a BTCPay Server is way to difficult.

Right now the best combo for the zapping I do seems to be Amethyst on Android + Alby via Nostr Wallet Connect. Very very high success rate (95% to 100%)
if you wanna try running your own NWC server, you could try out my Strike NWC server. i just run it on my Macbook whenever i want to use it.
or you could try algia + alby connect if you want to try zapping using the command line. i just discovered this app and so far it seems to work great.
