Here’s a quick screen recording of me enabling 1-tap #zaps in the latest Damus TestFlight and then sending a zap using the feature. I used a #[1] wallet. Note that I was already logged in to my Alby wallet when it gets to the step of the setup. If you don’t have a wallet yet you’ll need to set one up, or use a different NWC (Nostr wallet connect) compatible wallet.

I connected Alby to blue. Do I select the wallet selector to blue?
No the one-tap settings bypass the wallet selector. All you have to do is connect it in the “Wallet” tab of the side menu. Once it’s connected there, that becomes your sending wallet. It will use your default amount for the single tap, or you can still set a custom amount by long pressing the zap button. 
It's really great, thank you for sharing, I just need him to tell me how to set the zap share ratio.
Do you know what happens if instead of selecting “attach Alby wallet” we select “attach wallet?”
It just does this. The button is really unnecessary 😂

Did it ask you to scan or enter a code? I briefly clicked it on mine before I chose the Alby option, but I don’t remember what exactly it said. I thought it gave an option to scan a QR code or something.
Great vid. How long is the delay before the sats are sent? It’s been more than 20min for me and still waiting
I believe it’s only supposed to be about 5 seconds. Mine hung like that once too. Try force closing Damus and reopening. That seemed to fix it for me.

I don’t think so since this uses the Nostr Wallet Connect spec. That said, I imagine more support for self custodial nodes is coming. For instance Alby already launched Nostr Wallet Connect on Umbrel.

I had a problem, after associating the alby wallet on Damus for zap in 1 TAP, I could no longer enter the alby account through the browser.... Anyone else?

what kind of permissions do you give damus here?
It uses Nostr Wallet Connect (NIP-47) to authorize Damus to send payments using the connected wallet without leaving the app and without requiring confirmation on the wallet side for each payment. Damus uses the default zap amount you have set and gives you a few seconds to cancel the payment before it actually sends. The NIP mentions a spending quota so hopefully that’s implemented at some point. For now I’ve just created a separate wallet on Alby that’s only used for this and I keep the balance very low.
