Is it just me or does San Francisco have the worst weather of anywhere in California?

It's a weird bubble. It's currently warmer in Juneau Alaska and Portland Maine than it is in San Francisco!

Ernest Hemingway- "the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco

I believe that was Mark Twain

Lol I think you're right. My bad. But then I did a search and apparently there is no proof he said it🤣🤣

Lol! Then it’s our bad. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

The rest of the state is burning up. It's nice to be able to escape the heat.

The worst weather? Lol

Wild take. SF weather is some of the best

Seems like much of the time when I visit it's cold, windy, and dreary.

It depends on the neighborhood. Along the north and west sides it’s foggy. But a little more east it’s a consistent sunny warm temp year round

Never liked it

Woke Weather for ya

I never liked it

Ah, San Franshithole! Don't forget to bring your own needle.

Yep- cold to the bone. Head 15 miles N, S or E and there’s Sun. At least that’s what we do :) hope the rest of it is enjoyable.

It’s a peninsula in the middle of the ocean— so the hotter it gets on the mainland, the more cool air is pulled in from the ocean air. It’s nature’s air conditioning. It’s the fog that swoops down over twin peaks like soft little kitten paws. We call it Karl. And there’s even an app-for-that. Karl shows the weather in SF delineated by neighborhood because yes in fact we also have microclimates— another SF phenomenon. July is our coldest month. And September is the hottest. It doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t favor tourists. It’s just the way it is.

Only thing that makes up for the cold weather in san fran is that you can drive to the redwoods

Dont complain about getting free air conditioning

Summer terrible. Go in September or October
