Everytime ive onboarded someone i wanted to slit my wrists by the end of the experience, android and iphone. And that is WITHOUT setting up amber.
The ecash backend should be setup by default in amethyst and then somehow later the user should be prompted to move sats to their own ecahs or lightning wallet. That stream lines alot.

Well the dip coincides with the nice season start, i find myself staying online way much less then usual and living outside way much more… but anything can be, just my 2c after seeing the graph. For sure retention is an issue and i would love to find more users on here but we’re still early… time will come especially after the EU doing the marketing for us ;)

I don't even understand the value these bots give. 19 out of 20 are IMHO useless shite, the last one is in best case funny or entertaining.

That huge drop to 40k correlates pretty closely with the reply and gay spam attacks that happened in late May and June.

Thats the big problem indeed :) when zaps not get used more and more and creatives don’t see an incentive ( you can earn a bit from your content) it is not easy to come/stay.
Would be good the devs collab more with designers/creators. Olas is a good example. Loved it but didn’t move on with the first hype around it. I hope #shakespeare keeps giving us new tools as creatives. At least nostr:npub1scvyzz02ayma34hesz62pdrd5nhsmxp74hjq8msmfs9khh3r3drsnw68d8 is a dev who helps is creatives very good so that is one thing!
Yeah you might be right creating a win win incentive structure for everyone on Nostr is essential. One that aligns devs, creators, users and companies. I love the idea of teaming up across those groups.
Without creators there are no lurkers. And unless lurkers start zapping more, creators will leave. It’s simple economics of energy and time.
Right now, the zap numbers just don’t make sense for most creators to go Nostr-only as most creators actually need to zap their community.
So how can we really incentivize creators to provide exclusive content on Nostr?
Zaps alone won’t cut it yet. Maybe it’s about visibility? Curation? Dev partnerships? Who’s working on this?
I still believe we can make it work but it’s my pov it has to be intentional.
Anyway, i have bo fu clue but willing to support & drive further adoption 💜

Listen to content creators and release regularly new features (how small also) to keep it engaged. This new apps will bring more content creators to Nostr. But its hard devs and creatives are 2 different worlds that always struggle to come together😅
Interesting. Whats your take on how to bridge the gap between the 2 worlds of devs & creators?
When working on project as dev also have a designer in your team and good communication. nostr:npub10qdp2fc9ta6vraczxrcs8prqnv69fru2k6s2dj48gqjcylulmtjsg9arpj has now also people who explain to creators like me what is happening or helping. This makes you don’t leave the app/product. A help line/ good communication is key I believe.
