How is it that after all this time people still dont understand that owning #Bitcoin doesn’t mean control over the network?
It will take time to unlearn the fiat frame. Thinking that only *certain* people should own #Bitcoin or it’s in trouble is the opposite of why it exists.
You also have to wonder how these people thought it would work.
Bitcoin will be the global currency but it will only be used by people I like...?
Part of my delight for the #Bitcoin rabbit hole is all the paradigm shifting realizations that keep popping up.
I think they understand, but concerns get eyeballs. I :heart: ossification AND the many ecosystems in which Bitcoin functions.
Yes. Over time the only people who will own bitcoin are net producers. Net consumers cannot hodl. Bitcoin will straighten it all out, align incentives so that those who serve society are rewarded and those who predate upon it punished.

The amount of #Bitcoin you own does not give you any corresponding control over the network. The most control anyone ever has is over the code they run on their own node, which will get them forked off the network before it will ever cause Bitcoin to be changed.
